Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and timeously.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.

Compile and analyse monthly management accounts, highlighting variances and providing insight into financial performance.

Support the preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS and company policies.

Manage fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and verification processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required :

SAICA or SAIPA article-completed (or on the final stretch!) with a completed accounting degree.

Eager to step outside the world of audit and grow in a commercial finance environment.
