Job Summary :

The Senior DBA is responsible for the design implementation maintenance and performance of IBM DB2 databases across enterprise environments. This role ensures data integrity availability and security while supporting mission-critical applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

• DB2 V11.5 running on AIX V7.2 / V7.3 operating system experience.
• Install configure and upgrade database systems.
• Linux and Microsoft experience.
• Monitor and optimize database performance including SQL tuning and resource allocation.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using DB2 tools.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Manage user access roles and security policies.
• Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Document database architecture procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application performance.
