Job PurposeTo manage Product Innovation (Development; Maintenance and Governance) to achieve and maximise value and deliver on NedFleet strategic objectives.
Job ResponsibilitiesStakeholder Management : Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (CVP, Ops, GT, Fuel Retailers and Sales teams) to understand the value chain and deliver on the Value Added Proposition and integration of systems.Strategic Partnerships : Liaise, collaborate and maintain Strategic Partnerships with Vendors for product development and integration, and with suppliers to deliver on Service Level Agreements to clients.Client Service Culture : Create a client service culture. Support implementation of business optimization improvement through team engagement.Risk, Legal, and Compliance : Build strong relationships with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to understand processes, policies, and governance around product delivery.Develop and Innovate Solutions : Develop relevant solutions and product offerings informed by research, segment insights, competitive pricing, and understanding of client needs. Leverage emerging innovation, technology, and industry trends to facilitate the creation of solutions that solve business problems.Market Exploration and Opportunities : Continuously explore the market to identify product and market opportunities in collaboration with other areas. Find best-in-class solutions by leveraging the latest innovations and technology.Problem Resolution : Respond efficiently to problems using appropriate problem identification techniques to propose effective solutions.Product Initiatives and Enhancements : Define new product initiatives and enhancements to existing products. Assist in defining the operational business requirements of the solution (KPI's, OKR's, SLA's processes, procedures, and reporting).Solution Performance Management : Manage solution performance by monitoring take-up, impact, adherence to business case, and KPIs through Solution Dashboards and Business Case Tracking.Product Roadmaps and Backlogs : Own, proactively manage, and prioritize product roadmaps and backlogs, including major feature development and iterationpile and analyse reports from value chain stakeholders to identify trends and risk indicators.Bridge gap between business and technical knowledge – link business needs to technology requirements and best-in-class solutions.Setup and support squad enablement and ensure necessary roles for delivery through technical counterparts. Encourage squads to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.Ensure end-to-end product delivery through the value chain in collaboration with other stakeholders.Job Responsibilities ContinueCompliance and Governance : Ensure that products adhere to all compliance, operational risk, security, and market conduct standards by following governance processes. Ensure end-to-end design is aligned with architecture roadmaps through regular engagement with relevant stakeholders.Identify and drive development and implementation of solutions.Decision Support : Support decision-making by gathering and analysing information from stakeholders across the NedFleet value chain.Innovation and Prototyping : Leverage emerging innovation to pilot, prototype, and incubate new solutions. Ensure effective optimization of systems, processes, and technology.AGILE Methodologies : Take responsibility for the implementation of program and project governance that aligns with AGILE Methodologies, processes, and project management disciplines.Project Execution : Enhance the credibility of the function by reviewing project metrics and meeting with project managers to give direction to project execution.Technical Integration : Bridge the gap between business and technical knowledge by linking business needs to technology requirements and best-in-class solutions. Setup and support squad enablement and ensure necessary roles for delivery through technical counterparts. Encourage squads to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.Change Management : Manage change backlog on existing products and innovative deliverables. Ensure end-to-end product delivery through the value chain in collaboration with other stakeholders.Service Level Management : Define and agree on service levels for operational and call center support, including support and maintenance, application health, and stability. Ensure optimal team delivery by considering and making amendments to processes, structures, operating models, and business plans.Governance Forums : Effectively manage the delivery of products / services to stakeholders by establishing governance forums and understanding, assessing, and managing escalated risks associated with solutions, products, programs, and projects.Budget Management : Drive efficiencies by managing branch budgets through responsible budget planning and management of resources.Essential Qualifications - NQF LevelMatric / Grade 12 / National Senior CertificateAdvanced Diplomas / National 1st DegreesPreferred QualificationDegree in Project Management, Business Management, or relatedPreferred CertificationsSAFe or similar qualification.Minimum Experience LevelMinimum 5 years' Product Management (Full Life Cycle) experience within a Banking environment a must2 – 3 years' experience in Business Analysis3 years in a feeder area to this role – Digital / Innovation / AGILE / SAFePrevious Fleet Management exposure would be an Advantage.Technical / Professional KnowledgeCommunication StrategiesData analysisGovernance, Risk and ControlsIndustry trendsPrinciples of financial managementPrinciples of project managementRelevant regulatory knowledgeRelevant software and systems knowledgeResearch methodologyDecision-making processBehavioural CompetenciesCustomer FocusDecision MakingFacilitating ChangeInfluencingInnovationTechnical / Professional Knowledge and Skills
