RPO Recruitments client a leading and reputable engineering consulting firm in South Africa is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Geometric Design Engineer to join their roads department in Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute the geometric design of roads and transport infrastructure projects in accordance with SANRAL provincial and municipal standards
• Prepare concept preliminary and detailed geometric design using Autodesk Civil 3D
• Oversee and review horizontal and vertical alignments cross-sections intersections and corridor modelling
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including traffic pavement drainage and structural engineers
• Perform and review design calculations cost estimates BOQs and design reports
• Conduct quality control reviews and ensure designs meet project and statutory requirements
• Provide technical support to project managers and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Attend site meetings inspections and client engagements as required
