The ideal candidate will have prior Front of House experience in a luxury hospitality environment and strong administrative and communication skills to ensure seamless guest service from enquiry to arrival.
Candidate Requirements :
- Degree or equivalent from a reputable hotel school
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Reservations role within a 5-star property
- Previous Front of House experience in a luxury hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of reservations systems and guest service standards
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional telephone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Protel PMS advantageous
- Previous exposure to telesales or similar guest-facing sales functions
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Candidate Responsibilities :
Respond promptly and professionally to website, email, and telephonic enquiriesAccurately quote, capture, and confirm bookings while ensuring all guest details are completeBuild rapport with guests during the booking process and maintain excellent customer relationshipsResolve guest queries and complaints effectively, escalating to the Reservations Manager when requiredMaintain and update the guest database to ensure accuracy of all informationSupport the department with efficient administrative systems and proceduresMaximise revenue through upselling of lodge experiences and other servicesDevelop thorough product knowledge of all lodge offerings, activities, and unique selling pointsLiaise with lodge teams and relevant departments to communicate special requests and booking detailsThis is a live-in position with a 3 / 1 work cycle.
