Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
At least four years experience in a similar role
Duties will include
Maintain a safe, clean, and secure warehouse environment while ensuring efficiency of layout and workflow.
Oversee stock management, including receiving, storage, assemblies, dispatch, zoning, cycle counts, and quarterly stock takes.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics such as offloading, product accuracy checks, quality inspections, stock capturing, and handling returns.
Oversee customer deliveries to ensure early dispatch, on-time and accurate deliveries, effective route planning, driver performance, and vehicle maintenance.
Coordinate stock transfers between branches and manage the daily goods return book.
Conduct regular quality checks on incoming goods, record inspection results, and elevate issues to buyers when necessary.
Ensure products meet company standards for cleanliness, packaging, and presentation.
Lead and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring the correct structure and skills are in place for each function.
Conduct daily staff briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews, while rewarding achievement and addressing underperformance.
Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, fostering teamwork and productivity.
Ensure excellent customer service during collections and maintain high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse.
Monitor stock levels and place timely orders with local suppliers or through inter-branch sourcing.
Maintain 12 months stock cover and track back orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
Communicate any stock delays clearly to internal sales teams and representatives.
