C# Developer | Stellenbosch, Cape Town

Type

Full-time, Permanent

Work Setup

Hybrid (2 days in-office, Stellenbosch)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business and technical requirements into powerful product deliverables.
Turn requirements into technical specifications and carry out impact analysis of proposed solutions.
Implement specifications and develop innovative new features.
Manage version control with Git – updating tools, merging code, and maintaining development streams.
Conduct product testing before handing over to QA.
Showcase your work in product demos and contribute to user documentation.
Work independently or as part of a team, always encouraged to share insights and solutions in a collaborative space.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving, adapts quickly, and enjoys both autonomy and teamwork.

What you’ll bring

An IT qualification or 3+ years’ experience in a similar software development role.

Solid experience with C#, .Net Core 3.1, Restful APIs, Source Control (Git), Entity Framework Core.

Bonus skills (nice-to-have)

Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)

Domain Driven Design (DDD)

Distributed Computing (Microservices)

Knowledge / experience in insurance, insurtech, financial services, or fintech.
