Job descriptionEducation : BCom Accounting or similar; completed CIMA / AGA(SA) (essential). Experience : 45 years solid experience within the insurance or financial services industry. Advanced technical accounting skills and strong IFRS knowledge. Excellent Excel and system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Confident communicator, analytical thinker, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, actuarial, and operational teams to optimise reporting and performance insights.
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
