Introduction
Seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager / Administrator with experience in IT project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. This role bridges communication between technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining documentation, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with project governance standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and support IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain project tasks, expectations, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and administrative records.
- Escalate issues promptly and ensure resolution by liaising across multiple departments.
- Track progress using provided systems and tools, ensuring tasks are carried through to completion.
- Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Co‑ordinate meetings, agendas, and follow‑up actions.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously in a structured and organized manner.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure documentation complies with organizational requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matriculation certificate.Degree / diploma / certification in Project Management, or a related field is advantageous.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).2–4 years of IT project management or project administration experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and internal teams.Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.Ability to identify issues early and manage escalations effectively.Familiarity with IT systems and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or similar).Comfortable working across multiple departments and managing competing priorities.Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.Ability to create and maintain project dashboards and reports.Basic understanding of IT infrastructure or software development processes.Package & RemunerationR
