SUMMARY :

Electrical or Mechatronic Design Engineer required for a position in Somerset West.

Must have BEng or BTech with minimum 0-2 years of working experience in design and contractor management of biogas plants.

POSITION INFO :

Electrical or Mechatronic Design Engineer

Somerset West

Minimum requirements and qualifications :

BEng or BTech degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
Minimum 0-2 years of proven working experience.
Excellent communication skills
Must be willing to travel overseas.
Must have a good understanding of Industrial Automation (MCC, VSD's, PLCs, Switchgear and Integrated Solutions).

Responsibilities :

Drafting Key Single Line and electrical diagrams

Drafting Tender Specification Documents for electrical cabling and power distribution.

Managing subcontractors during site installations.

Managing the design of power distribution and electrical infrastructure.

Review of panel designs and electrical drawings (supplied by contractors).

Understanding of ATEX zones
