Overview
The Ideal Candidate would be responsible for the following in the Hatchery : managing maintenance processes, leading staff, attending to breakdowns, ensuring bio-security and health and safety compliance, performing maintenance and project work, and maintaining high product quality and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing and controlling the maintenance processes involved in the Hatchery
- Managing staff in a disciplined and effective manner
- Attending to breakdowns and maintaining 20 keys
- Managing strict bio-security measures and adhering to Health and Safety requirements and laws
- Maintenance and project work within the Hatchery
- Ensuring the highest product quality / hygiene standards is always maintained.
Qualifications
A minimum N3 qualificationPossess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Hatchery or 3 years’ experience in a similar role as an ArtisanBe in possession of a trade certificate as an Electrician or MillwrightPLC, AC Drives and Controller knowledge and experienceMust be computer literateFluent in English and an additional official languagePassionate, self-motivated and performance drivenMust be pro-active and able to work accurately and independentlyWilling to work weekends, public holidays and standby dutyMust be a team playerSeniority level
