TECHNICAL ADVISOR (DAIRY)

Meadow Feeds Pietermaritzburg

The ideal candidate would be responsible for :

Sales and marketing of nutritional solutions to achieve agreed targets;

Customer liaison (on farm visits and delivery logistics);

Compiling and submitting weekly reports;

Customer Complaint Report documentation and investigation;

Customer management support;

Data analysis;

Related administrative duties.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

A minimum of a BSc. Agriculture degree;

Experience in the selling and marketing of animal feed products;

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;

Assertive and a high degree of self-motivation;

Skilled in all aspects surrounding any type of ruminant nutrition;

Factors influencing milk volume and solids in dairy herds;

Experience in on-farm diet assessment programmes and herd management programmes;

Entrepreneurial skills;

An advanced level of computer skills in Microsoft Office products;

A commitment to service excellence and attention to detail;

High level of personal and professional integrity;

A self-starter with a friendly disposition;

Valid Drivers licence.
