DENTAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST | CENTURION, PTA

A well-established Dental Practice in Centurion, Pretoria, is seeking a skilled, HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join their busy and dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be professional, organised, and able to start as soon as possible.

Some of the duties will include:

• Preparing patients for procedures
• Assisting the dentist during treatments
• Sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean and organised treatment area
• Taking X-rays
• Managing patient records
• Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment book
• Answering and managing phone calls and email enquiries in a friendly, professional manner
• Welcoming patients and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes
• Following up on appointment reminders
• Maintaining the reception area in a neat and welcoming condition
• Assisting with lab tasks and taking impressions
• Providing patients with post-operative care instructions
• Monitoring and restocking supplies
• Ensuring all infection control protocols are strictly followed

Working Hours:

• 3 days a week: 07:00 – 16:00
• 2 days a week: 08:00 – 17:00
• 2 Saturdays per month: 07:00 – 13:00

Salary: R16,000 gross

Requirements:

• Active HPCSA Registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, hard-working, and loyal individual
• Computer literate
• Experience with GoodX
• Strong administrative and reception skills
