Job descriptionPlan, schedule and supervise all preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and implement effective solutions Oversee servicing and maintenance of refrigeration units and air-conditioning systems Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost control Source, purchase, and maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance supplies Monitor and manage the maintenance budget while maintaining accurate records Post-school technical qualification or trade certification advantageous Minimum 3–5 years’ maintenance management experience within a five-star hospitality environment or comparable high-end property Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and oversee maintenance programmes Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems Computer literate and comfortable with maintenance management software Energetic, motivated, and collaborative, with the ability to remain calm under pressure Flexibility to work shifts and respond to after-hours call-outs when required Applicants residing in Plettenberg Bay or the surrounding areas are invited to apply Engineering / Technical jobs
