HR Manager – Luxury Hotel

Location : Cape Town

Salary : Negotiable DOE

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate located in Cape Town . This position is ideal for a proactive, people-focused professional with a strong understanding of HR strategy, labor legislation, and employee engagement in a high-end hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee all HR operations and ensure alignment with the estate’s strategic objectives

Manage recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention processes

Implement and maintain effective HR policies and procedures

Drive performance management and training initiatives

Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations

Provide support and guidance to department heads and employees

Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and leave management in conjunction with Finance

Handle disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, and conflict resolution

Champion a positive and productive workplace culture

Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review

Requirements :

Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector

Relevant HR qualification (Diploma or Degree)

In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities

High level of confidentiality and professionalism

Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-departmental environment
