Job description

Position : Financial Analyst

Working Hours : 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (PST)

Monthly Salary : $2500 to $3000 per month depending on experience

Location : Remote (preferred : South Africa)

Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Analysis

Build and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.

Conduct unit economics analysis to evaluate the efficiency and profitability of business operations.

Provide scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide investment and resource allocation.

Business & Strategic Support

Partner with leadership to evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion plans.

Support board-level reporting with clear financial insights and executive-ready presentations.

Track KPIs and performance metrics, offering recommendations for improvements.

Data Management & Reporting

Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.

Prepare dashboards and management reports for ongoing visibility.

Ensure accuracy and clarity in data used for decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A.

Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and strong deck-building skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides).

Strong grasp of unit economics, P&L management, and business modeling.

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
