Senior Safari Consultant

SUMMARY :

An Exquisite Safari Company is looking for a SENIOR SAFARI CONSULTANT

POSITION INFO :

Candidate requirements :

• Must have a deep passion for Africa and the safari industry
• You will have a VERY good working knowledge of safari locations having worked in travel as a safari sales consultant with at least 3-4 years of retail sales experience
• Must have a love for adventure and wildlife, and have experience traveling to wilderness areas including both Southern and East Africa (advantage)
• Have an understanding of and experience in sales and proactively improve your sales skills
• Must be a people person and take great pride in customer satisfaction
• Must have existing relationships in the industry
• Must be a creative person and be able to think out of the box
• Must have experience creating and selling high-level bespoke safari itineraries and turning them into reality with all the necessary details for the trip of a lifetime
• Experience with small groups or FIT travelers an advantage
• Must have an excellent command of the English language
• Must be an all-rounder, able to work independently with initiative, and reliability, and have good organizational skills
• Must be very structured, organized, honest, and with a focus on attention to detail are essential, as industry-leading service is the goal!
• You will be an important part of a small dynamic team doing some exciting stuff!
• Must have an outgoing personality and great people skills
• Must be able to work under pressure, and reach goals and sales targets
• Must be fully computer literate and have good written communication skills will be a distinct advantage
• You will be the first point of call for all guest inquiries. You will be accountable for guest satisfaction and be required to champion the required service levels across all guest touchpoints
