Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles according to manufacturer standards. Youll ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality supporting the dealership’s commitment to excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance on vehicles across multiple brands.
- Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting using modern diagnostic tools.
- Carry out engine, gearbox, suspension, and brake repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards within the workshop.
- Support workshop efficiency and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Assist with mentoring apprentices or junior technicians where required.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Motor Mechanic / Vehicle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential).Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 8).Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.Willingness to undergo manufacturer‑specific training.Technical Certification
Experience across multiple vehicle brands will be advantageous.
