Job Description
A well-established estate is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clubhouse Manager to oversee the Food & Beverage operations of its golf clubhouse. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong hospitality background, excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to drive sales and upsell services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all F&B operations within the clubhouse, including restaurant service, bar and event catering
- Coordinate and execute corporate and social golf days, group bookings and estate functions
- Lead and motivate front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Build strong relationships with estate homeowners, many of whom are long-term residents and regular patrons
- Implement upselling strategies to boost revenue across all service points
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior management and the F&B Manager to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Minimum 57 years experience in hospitality management, with a focus on F&B and event coordinationDiploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related fieldAdditional certifications in F&B, customer service or event planning will be advantageousSkills
NB : Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written) essential for engaging effectively with the estates homeowner baseProven leadership skills and experience managing diverse teamsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with high-end clienteleSales-oriented mindset with a track record of upselling and revenue growthProfessional, well-groomed and service-focused
