Job descriptionMatric / Grade 12 (essential) 3â5 yearsâ retail management experience (butchery / poultry / FMCG industry advantageous) A Retail Management or Business Administration certificate / diploma (advantageous) Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate (advantageous) Strong leadership and people management skills Knowledge of stock control, ordering, and supplier management Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment Must be flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision and scheduling
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle client queries or complaints professionally
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage suppliers to ensure the availability of products
- Maintain quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
- Drive sales and meet store targets through effective merchandising and promotions
- Manage cash-ups, banking, and financial controls within the store
- Train, motivate, and develop staff to deliver high performance
