Senior Production Planner

Our client, who is currently setting the benchmark in the packaging industry in South Africa, has an opportunity for a qualified individual who is looking to climb the ladder in the Production / Operations sector.

Your KPI’s will consist of efficient planning of production processes, scheduling running time on production machinery, managing machine loads, daily stats, liaising with raw material stores to ensure necessary raw materials are available, continuous improvement and changes to processes and ensuring minimum downtime is achieved.

Requirements :

Minimum Matric (NQF 4)

Advanced Excel skills

Minimum 5 years’ production scheduling in the Corrugating industry

Minimum 2 Years’ supervisory experience in a relevant role

Knowledge and experience in LEAN manufacturing principles

Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently in English

Proven problem-solving abilities – track record
