Assistant financial manager

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Oversee and manage the full financial function including accounting reporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow financial risks and working capital.
• Develop implement and maintain financial policies procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with regulatory authorities auditors and banks.
• Provide financial analysis insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Assist with project-based financial management including billing profitability analysis and client reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS tax laws and other statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance).
• Professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 58 years experience in financial management preferably in consulting professional services or corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards tax legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
