The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
This role will involve working on a range of systems, including PLCs, SCADA, electrical distribution, and instrumentation for process monitoring and control.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, specify, and implement EC&I systems for industrial and process applications.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards (e.g. BS EN, IEC, and ATEX).
- Develop and update technical documentation, drawings, and control logic diagrams.
- Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and project teams.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
Skills & Qualifications :
Degree or HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.Proven experience in EC&I design and implementation.Proficiency with PLC / SCADA systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider).Strong understanding of instrumentation and control principles.Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (e.g. BS 7671 and IEC 61508).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
