Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.

This role will involve working on a range of systems, including PLCs, SCADA, electrical distribution, and instrumentation for process monitoring and control.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, specify, and implement EC&I systems for industrial and process applications.
Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new systems and equipment.
Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical and control systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards (e.g. BS EN, IEC, and ATEX).
Develop and update technical documentation, drawings, and control logic diagrams.
Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and project teams.
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Skills & Qualifications :

Degree or HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in EC&I design and implementation.

Proficiency with PLC / SCADA systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider).

Strong understanding of instrumentation and control principles.

Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (e.g. BS 7671 and IEC 61508).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
