Job description

The Lab Manager will lead and manage all laboratory operations within the R&D and QC functions, ensuring scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a strategic and technical leadership role that drives innovation in digital ink development while maintaining rigorous quality standards across all products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership :

o Define and execute the long‑term laboratory strategyincluding equipment roadmap, method development, and capacity planningto meet both existing and future analytical demands.

  • Team Management & Development :

    • o Lead, coach and grow a team of scientists and technicians; foster a culture of technical rigor, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Operational Excellence :

    • o Oversee day‑to‑day lab operations (R+D and QC), ensure robust SOPs and GLP / GMP compliance.

  • Advanced Methodology :

    • o Drive development and validation of advanced analytical methods and implement new technologies to support product innovation and troubleshooting.

  • Budget & Resource Management :

    • o Own the laboratory budgetincluding CAPEX for new instrumentationand optimize resource allocation, vendor relationships, and maintenance schedules.

  • Stakeholder Partnership :

    • o Act as the primary liaison with R&D, Production, Regulatory Affairs and global customers to align analytical capabilities with business needs.

    What You Bring

  • Qualifications : MSc in Chemistry field.
  • Experience : Minimum 810 years in high‑throughput analytical labs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Mastery : Deep hands‑on expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, method validation, and troubleshooting complex formulations.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to inspire and retain top talent, manage cross‑functional projects, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma experience a plus).
  • Communication : Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Commitment : Passion for staying in the laboratory environment and mentoring others in best‑in‑class analytical practices.
