Solutions Engineer – MUST be based in South Africa

What You’ll Do
- Partner with Account Executives to understand customer pain points and business goals.
- Deliver tailored product demos that align with client use cases.
- Manage Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) implementations, from data setup to success validation.
- Contribute to RFP / RFI responses, providing technical insights and scalability assessments.
- Independently complete customer security questionnaires.
Implementation & Onboarding
Own the full customer onboarding process, from scoping integrations to managing complex data migrations.Lead deployments and configurations, ensuring successful rollouts and smooth user adoption.Develop implementation playbooks, timelines, and success criteria.Deliver workshops and technical training for QA teams, developers, and administrators.Act as the technical escalation point during implementation and integration phases.Technical Delivery
Address security and compliance queries confidently (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).Create and maintain clear, reusable technical documentation and integration guides.Bridge communication between customers and internal teams, relaying actionable product feedback.Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure smooth client lifecycles.Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on usage insights.Monitor adoption metrics and recommend optimization strategies.What You’ll Bring
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of QA processes and Test Management Systems (TMS).Hands‑on experience with APIs, CI / CD integrations, and cloud deployments.Familiarity with information security frameworks and compliance standards.Customer‑Facing Experience
Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously.Professional Background
3+ years in solutions engineering, implementation, or technical account management in a SaaS environment.Alternatively, 3+ years in QA automation or engineering with customer‑facing exposure.Experience across full customer lifecycle — from onboarding through renewal.Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure) are advantageous.Why This Role?
