Direct Travel Specialist

SUMMARY :

An Incredible Safari Collection is looking for a DIRECT TRAVEL SPECIALIST

POSITION INFO :

Candidate Requirements :

Must have at least 5 years of reservations experience, preferably in a tour operating environment

Must have good knowledge of travel destinations (Such as Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Seychelles)

Should have an understanding of FIT and Groups policies and procedures

Must have strong communication skills and command of the English language

Familiarity with Tourplan reservations system (advantageous)

Must have strong time and desk management skills

Computer aptitude

Must have strong attention to detail and ability to elaborate on descriptions

Must be exceptionally customer-focused with creativity, flexibility, high energy, and patience

Key Outputs :

• Calm and professional interaction with both suppliers and travel planners, telephonically & via email
• Creative and out of the box planning and designing of itineraries
• Handling reservation requests either email or telephonic
• Processing of reservations from quote to finalising, including reservations, invoicing and travel documents
• Professional servicing of our dynamic direct guests
• Proactive selling of our products and services ensuring the best possible safari for the guest

This is a live-out position

Working hours – shift work required (07 : 00 – 15 : 30 & 09 : 30 – 18 : 00) on rotation basis
