About the Role
Support the management of inventory by assisting with inventory verifications and reconciliations.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure the accuracy of inventory information and compliance with policies and procedures.
The role will be administrative and will involve physical movement of equipment.
This role will be based in Kempton Park and will need to travel to the Head-Office in Sandton bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
Junior Inventory Clerk
Stock Monitoring & Control : Track all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization.
Record Keeping : Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records using computer systems and other technologies.
Auditing & Discrepancy Reporting : Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile any differences between physical stock and system records, reporting discrepancies to managers.
Receiving & Distribution : Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and distribute stock or supplies to other departments as needed.
Data Entry : Input new items, adjust inventory levels, and update various inventory records in the system.

Candidate Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Inventory management certification (Advantage).
Grade 12
Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 (six) months to 2 (two) years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Intermediate).
Experience with a ticketing system (Advantage).
Skills
Attention to detail : Be able to manage inventory effectively and maintain order.
Computer Proficiency : Ability to use inventory management software and other office technologies.
Communication Skills : To effectively report discrepancies and coordinate with other staff or departments. Manage client expectations and enforcing process in respectful manner
