Our client, a leading Manufacturing company based in Umhlanga, is looking to fill the position of Industrial Controller.

Purpose of the Role :

As an Industrial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company managers and employees, aiding in daily office operations, and contributing to the efficient management of industrial activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a central point of contact for office communication, directing relevant information to plant and office personnel.
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems for cement plants and office records.
• Accurately capture and submit data within specified deadlines.
• Reconcile and process relevant invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Minute meetings and manage the diary of the Industrial Director.
• Generate, monitor, and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for invoices.
• Analyse plant costs, identify deviations, and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of performance metrics and improvement plans.
• Conduct statistical studies to enhance process efficiency.
• Compile, coordinate, and collate budgets and forecasts in collaboration with plant personnel and finance.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, including safety, health, and environmental regulations.
