SUMMARY :

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the industrial sector? We're seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations within a specific geographical area.

POSITION INFO :

You will lead and motivate a dynamic sales team to achieve targets and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain trust relationships with major clients.
  • Understand and fulfill key customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Serve as the communication link between customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain trust.
  • Generate new sales that lead to long-lasting relationships.
  • Prepare regular progress and forecast reports using key account metrics.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territories.
  • Identify and acquire new customers, while upselling to existing ones.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to successful closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop a robust pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting and account planning.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities to formulate responsive strategies.

Requirements :

  • Proven sales experience, preferably as an Area Manager in the industrial sector.
  • Experience in sales and providing customer-focused solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to solve problems and negotiate effectively.
  • BSc / BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field is beneficial.
  • Residing close to the Centurion area.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Matric Certificate required.
  • Technical Certificate is a plus.
  • BSc / BA degree in Business Administration is beneficial.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the industrial sector.
