Your Role :
You will be responsible for ensuring a well-organised stock room, optimising stock flow to the sales floor, and implementing effective stock control measures to reduce losses and improve service delivery.Key Responsibilities :
Stock Room Excellence & Efficiency
Manage the stock room with precision, ensuring it operates at optimal efficiencyMaintain high organisational standards to ensure quick and easy retrieval of stockImplement best practices for stock handling to minimise losses and discrepanciesEnsure that all back-office and stock room standards align with company policiesStock Management & Loss Prevention
Ensure optimal service levels on the sales floor by managing stock flow efficientlyMaintain accurate stock records and investigate all stock-related discrepanciesOversee write-offs and loss control, ensuring they remain within company standardsEnsure only top-quality stock reaches the sales floor by preventing damaged stock from being soldCustomer Service & Sales Support
Enhance customer experience by ensuring stock is always readily availableSupport the sales team by enabling smooth stock movement and accessibilityWork collaboratively to maximise store profitability through effective stock controlSafety & Compliance
Ensure the stock room complies with Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) standardsMaintain a safe and hazard-free working environment for team membersUphold all company policies and procedures related to stock and risk managementWhat You Need to Succeed :
Matric / Grade 12 (essential)Minimum 2 years’ retail experience (luxury or fashion retail preferred)Strong understanding of stockroom operations and inventory managementAdditional Skills & Attributes :
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skillsKnowledge of relevant stock administration policies and proceduresAbility to investigate and resolve stock-related discrepanciesStrong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and managementA deep understanding of retail back-office operations and OHASA standardsStore Keeping / Procurement jobs
