Maintenance Electrician

Job descriptionPerform scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently Source and install spares in line with operational needs Maintain statutory registers and liaise with service providers Maintain buildings and infrastructure to required standards Complete basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed Adhere to quality management systems and GMP protocols Ensure equipment and workspace comply with safety standards Enforce safe working practices and compliance with health and safety policies Participate in HACCP and health & safety committee activities Maintain a clean and organised work environment Trade Test Certificate Electrician Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and maintenance Valid Drivers Licence Physically fit and able to work shifts and heights Available for standby duty (1 week in every 3) Good communication, problem-solving, and planning skills Understanding of HACCP and ISO systems is beneficial Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability Working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Comfortable working both independently and within a team

- Install and maintain electrical systems, control panels, and distribution components
- Troubleshoot and repair faults, ensuring minimal downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
