Overview

Audit Senior Associate 2 role at PwC Careers Africa. PwC’s audit and assurance professionals provide independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability for stakeholders. They evaluate governance and risk management processes and related controls, and focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issuing an auditor’s report with an opinion.

Focused on relationships, you will build client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of teams and clients, deliver quality, and grow your technical expertise and self-awareness in evolving business contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements across various industries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Supervise and review the work of Associates and Interns.
• Prepare audit documentation and communicate findings to clients.
• Liaise with clients to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Support Managers in planning and budgeting audit assignments.
