Our client in the mining industry is looking for a Project Coordinator - Control & Instrumentation to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will must have extensive experience in the design and execution of projects within the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) framework.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, direct, manage, and coordinate all control & instrumentation operations within Project EPC functions.
- Support SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) operations.
- Collaborate with business partners to resolve day-to-day engineering and site-related issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to project standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Track project performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Ensure that project activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and within budget constraints.
- Manage coordination efforts between contractors and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
Desired Experience & Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the mining or related industry.Strong knowledge of MCC, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other relevant systems.Proven experience in managing both greenfield and brownfield Control and Instrumentation projects, from concept through to commissioning and project handover.In-depth knowledge of Mine Health, Safety, and Environmental Management principles, practices, and statutory requirements.A team player with excellent coordination and communication skills.If you are an experienced professional in the Control & Instrumentation field with a passion for mining, innovation, and growth, this is your opportunity to contribute to a leading mining company and its expanding portfolio.
