Job description

We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist with deep DV expertise to join our high‑performance ad operations team based in Claremont, Western Cape. This role is % focused on programmatic, working across DV and accompanying GMP platforms to deliver impactful campaigns for major brands across South Africa and broader Sub‑Saharan Africa.

What You’ll Do

You will take full ownership of the end‑to‑end campaign lifecycle within DV : plan, set up, optimize, and manage DV campaigns across Display, Video, YouTube, Audio, DOOH, and emerging formats. Lead tag implementation, tracking, and measurement workflows across DV and GTM. Drive performance and efficiency across a portfolio of high‑value clients. Serve as the primary DV platform contact in managing internal and external performance reviews. Collaborate closely with media strategists and performance leads to improve results and innovation. Ensure accurate monthly billing submissions and platform spend reconciliations.

What You Must Have

  • DV experience (required)
  • Google Looker Studio – 2+ years hands‑on experience
  • Google Tag Manager – 2+ years hands‑on experience
  • Microsoft Excel – 3–5 years hands‑on experience
  • App Measurement Platforms (AppsFlyer, Firebase, Adjust or equivalent) – 2+ years hands‑on experience
  • Campaign Manager – campaign trafficking and platform integrations experience
  • GA4 – analytics interpretation & custom events
  • DV Media Buying, Tracking and Analyses Expertise
  • End‑to‑end campaign management in DV
  • Open Exchange Display and Video buying
  • YouTube buying (Mastheads, YouTube Select, sequential setups)
  • PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed deal setup
  • Conversion tracking and floodlight implementation via GTM
  • Budget pacing, spend forecasting, and reporting
  • Data analysis using Excel and Looker Studio
  • Dynamic Creative (DCO) integration and workflows
  • Digital Out‑of‑Home (DOOH) activation via DV‑compatible SSPs
  • Soft skills : clear, professional communication; strong attention to detail; task and time management across multiple accounts; problem‑solving with proactive mindset; confidence in client interactions; adaptability for fast‑paced media environments; team‑first mentality; strategic thinking and commercial awareness; curiosity & growth orientation.
