Responsibilities
People (Performance & Development)
- To control the implementation and monitoring of the Succession Planning within all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure that all critical positions are filled in line with the business requirements and in conjunction with the Employment Equity Act
- Ensuring solutions are provided on areas where KRA’S are not met.
Culture & Innovation
To set and maintain acceptable levels of performance within all areas of responsibilities as per Labor Standards.Finance
To ensure that the Site achieves an acceptable Shrinkage result within the set budgets.Ensure that planning is conducted in line with set budgets and targets.To ensure that the efficiency % is in line with the Set Targets.Task Execution
Ensure that all stock is handled and stored in a manner that reduces processing time, improves efficiencies and reduces damages and risk to goods.Participate and give input of the business plan (Budgeting and forecasting)Ensure route file optimization standards are met.Identification, development and implementation of policies and procedures which relate to day to day operational activities in as far as Systems and Physical aesthetics are concernedEnsure that the DC Operational and support team structures is resourced by motivated & empowered staff & lead by sound performance management & transformational leadership practicesEnsure that the required departmental & Supplier meetings are in place in order to communicate work load and action plans.Liaise with different stakeholders to eliminate challenges.Management of time and attendance of subordinates.Create awareness of the Supply Chain Strategy and Vision.Utilization of dashboards, scorecards; to determine challenges and identification of underlining issues.Full compliance to legislative requirements.Conducting of disciplinary processes, by means of chairing or initiation.Continuous interaction with co-workers and subordinates to ensure that deadlines and goals are achieved.Ensure that all customer expectations are met by means of achieving SLA requirements for both internal en external customers.Ensure that in depth investigations are conducted on all system and process issues highlighted.Ensure that suppliers are managed in accordance with the supplier induction rules setEnsure that the planning of stock take is executedEnsure that quality checks are done on product before the goods are allocated into the warehouse or loadedDemonstrate a commitment to decreasing the total delivered cost of products for the organization as a whole.Requirements
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12NQF Level 7 / Relevant Tertiary Qualification / Degree in Supply Chain.Experience
3 Years appropriate Supply Chain Experience.Appropriate IR Management ExperienceCompetencies & Skills
