Electrical Engineer/Electrician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Electrician to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with specific experience in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment throughout the hospital facility.
2. Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards and regulations, including compliance with hospital policies and local regulations.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages to minimize disruption to hospital operations and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
4. Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and renovations within the hospital facility.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and hospital personnel to coordinate electrical work with other departments and ensure seamless operations.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, including documentation of equipment specifications and warranties.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to hospital staff on electrical safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer/Electrician, with specific experience in the hospital or healthcare sector.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
