Job descriptionCompliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies Execution of planned production activities Ensuring targets are achieved Pre-shift meeting and inspection of work areas Monitors performance by means of reports, charts, graphs, studies, and visual inspections Loading, Hauling and Dump Control Loading areas Administration Ensure Machinery is kept in good working condition Daily Inspections Ensure compliment is managed in line with budget Ensure subordinates KPIs are clearly defined Overtime management Leave management Industrial relations
Minimum Requirements :
- National Senior Certificate
- Candidates must have a valid drivers license
- A Diploma or Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering will be advantageous
- Must have an open pit blasting or rock breaking certificate.
- Competency A, Legal Liability
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an open pit mining environment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Must have proven experience with open pit heavy equipment fleet and open pit operations and mechanical inclined
