Overview

We are currently looking for a strong Business Central (BC) Consultant to join our clients Managed Services team. The BC Consultant’s primary responsibility is to perform functional and technical consulting services, deliver successful implementation and support with a high level of client satisfaction to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) customers. The BC Consultant will be focused on the delivery and implementation of Microsoft’s Business Central ERP solution. There will be exposure to a wide range of industries, so the ability to quickly understand new business environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn a set of business requirements into a full-fledged architecture and design that is in essence the blueprint of a successful implementation
  • Recommend best practices for the solution to the client
  • Identify, evaluate, and identify risks to mitigate them and eliminate any aspect that might hamper the successful delivery of the solution
  • Ensure that the solution meets the customer’s needs now and, in the future
  • Define a process for the solution delivery
  • Using resources efficiently and effectively through management of the team in conjunction with the project manager during the life cycle of the project to ensure that project stays within budget and deadlines / project milestones are met whilst delivering the business value to the client

Who Do You Need to Be?

  • Relevant degree, certification, or provable experience in the IT field (Computer Science; Information Technology; Software Engineering)
  • Functional Consultant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across a range of modules, clients and industries
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC
  • Understanding how to enhance business with technology
  • Relational thinking (How elements of a solution / program / system fit together)
  • Practical skills and knowledge in :
  • Computer and operating systems
  • Infrastructure and engineering design
  • DevOps
  • System security measures
  • Business analysis
  • Database management
  • Web platforms
  • Hardware and software management
  • Network administration
  • Project and project management
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to businesspeople in a language they understand, and business requirements to technical people
