Reporting to the Finance Manager of the Property business, this is a key role player in the financial accounting and payments aspects of the business. The main responsibilities include :
The preparation of accurate and timely financial information to support monthly management accounts reporting.
The capturing of creditors' invoices on the system by querying information, seeking confirmation or supporting documentation, posting the invoices, interacting and making information available, and receiving and routing mail to the relevant department for attention.
Provides effective and efficient support to internal stakeholders
Effective use and maintenance of the ERP system.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the month-end financial process for the Property operation (incorporating its division and subsidiaries), including :

Qualifications & Experience
BCOM (Hons) or relevant qualification
SAP FI experience is compulsory
At least three years experience in a similar finance role
Ability to work in a pressurised and deadline-driven environment, with effective time management
Strong interpersonal and good communication skills for interacting with support staff and other internal and external stakeholders
Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Ability to think critically and work independently
Highly organised and proactive, hard-working and self-motivated
Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and tax legislation
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Property / Land Development sector experience would be an advantage
Articles with "Big 4" experience would be advantageous
