An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Procurement Transformation Manager to lead and manage the transformation journey within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
This role requires a results-driven professional who thrives on developing and implementing strategies that promote sustainable, inclusive procurement practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of BBBEE compliance, supplier transformation, and procurement policy alignment – ensuring that all initiatives contribute to meaningful change and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor procurement transformation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage all BBBEE compliance activities, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and Codes of Good Practice.
- Analyse and calculate the organisation's BBBEE scorecard, monitor progress, and prepare verification documentation.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including with LED suppliers and development partners.
- Drive local economic development supplier engagements and regional supplier market days.
- Ensure procurement policies reflect the latest transformation requirements and are effectively implemented.
- Provide leadership in change management initiatives and ensure consistent communication on BBBEE performance.
- Mentor and support extended teams in LED and transformation reporting.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for development, improvement, or partnership realignment.
Requirements
A relevant 3-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related transformation qualification.Years' experience in senior procurement transformation roles, including managing teams in diversity and inclusion portfolios.Proven expertise in the implementation and management of procurement transformation strategies.In-depth understanding of the BBBEE Act, Scorecard, Property Charter, and related sector codes.Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent communication and report-writing capabilities.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and scorecard reporting.Sound financial understanding for interpreting procurement spend and BBBEE score calculations.A meticulous, detail-oriented professional who can perform under pressure and deliver to deadlines.EE Disclaimer : All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
