Finance Director JHB - Eastern Suburbs

A well-established engineering company requires a Finance Director to contribute to the team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, manage and develop all aspects relating to financial planning, control and reporting within the company to ensure the long-term financial viability of these investments in terms of group financial goals.
• Maintain financial control over all company assets and liabilities in accordance with legal requirements, group policy and generally accepted accounting practice (GAAP / IFRS).
• Ensure continuous improvement in the finance function and ensure a consistent approach to all financial issues within the group to support other departments in financial issues on the Wadeville site.
• BCom / CA / CMA / Articles / Green Belt or Black Belt or Master Black belt will also be advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing / technical environment.
• Computer Literate – MS Office, Excel, Syspro, Vena (an advantage).
• 5+ years commodity risk hedging experience.
• No major findings on the audit report.
• Submit monthly / yearly financial information to the company by the deadlines specified.
• Achieve a 90% favourable response from other departments in terms of providing financial information.

Package & Remuneration

Monthly plus Basic salary, medical aid, provident fund, performance bonus.
