Senior Instrument Technician Mining Industry R900K R700K

RPO Recruitments client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Instrument Technician in North West.

Responsibilities :

• Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks as requested by the engineering manager
• Participate in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures and / incidents
• Ensure that LMDC safety policy is applies by executing scheduled plant inspections
• Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
• Provide input to project coordinators in terms of control system requirements
• Implement appropriate technological control solutions to ensure optimal process control efficiency
• Ensure that control installations are configured according to appropriate standards and procedures
Requirements :
• Grade 12
• National Technical Diploma in Engineering
• Registered as a Professional Engineering Technician with ECSA
• Instrument mechanician trade test certificate
• 6 - 8 years experience in a plant mining environment
