Waitress

Please note this position is in the Middle East- Kuwait. All relocation costs will be covered.

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Experienced Waitress to join our team at our authentic French restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in a high-end or fine dining environment. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional table service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable French dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations on French cuisine and wine pairings.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar efficiently.

• Serve meals and drinks in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, daily specials, and wine list, including French culinary terms and ingredients.

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness at all times.

• Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Process payments and maintain accurate cash/card transaction records.

• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.

• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with restaurant policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a waitress in a fine dining or upscale restaurant (French cuisine experience advantageous).

• Knowledge of French culinary terms, dishes, and wines is highly desirable.

• Ability to carry out food and wine service with elegance and professionalism.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English (French language skills are a plus).
