You will be responsible for the commissioning of HV / MV substations, ensuring that they are tested, configured, and safely brought online. You will collaborate with engineering, construction, and utility teams to deliver technically sound and compliant electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute commissioning plans for substations (11kV to 132kV+)
- Perform functional testing of protection relays, SCADA systems, and automation controls
- Conduct loop checks, CT / VT ratio and polarity tests, breaker timing, and insulation resistance tests
- Interpret single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and interface drawings
- Produce commissioning reports and documentation as per project and client standards
- Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure safe energization
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
