Job descriptionAzure certifications like AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-140, AZ-305 and ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation. 5-10 years’ experience working with Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. Deep knowledge of Azure services : Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, Networking, Azure AD / MFA, Load Balancers, Backups, and more. You communicate clearly and confidently in English. Strong problem-solving skills, especially in busy, fast-moving environments. Self-driven, able to juggle multiple priorities, and stay calm under pressure. Good at making smart decisions and keeping everyone in the loop. A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others. Committed to seeing issues through, including some after-hours work when needed.
Senior 3rd Line Azure Engineer required in Cape Town.
Looking for a hands-on Senior 3rd Line Azure Engineer to join a team supporting international clients remotely. You’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex Azure issues and delivering technical projects on time, all while working within clear SLAs and KPIs.
What you’ll be doing :
- Take charge of diagnosing and fixing tough Azure incidents with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Work closely with service desks, other tech teams, vendors, and customers to get things sorted fast.
- Keep SLA promises by staying ahead and communicating clearly.
- Bring fresh ideas by teaming up with vendors to find better solutions.
- Help improve our services and collaborate across teams to make things better.
- Write clear technical docs and user guides to help everyone stay on the same page.
