Full job description
Shopfitting Factory Manager to oversee flow of production, shopfitting components etc
Production management and execution – producing the right quality, full delivery, to one standard at the lowest cost.
Planning daily production activities and meeting production targets, ensuring overall effectiveness.
Liaise with the various departments on site to ensure site are adhered to.
Be involved in plans for the launch of new orders.
Peak production planning.
Budget and cost control – assist in developing and providing input into management the sites manufacturing budget – specifically identifying cost saving projects. Stock management and control.
Product quality assurance and safety – ensuring high product quality standards are maintained and safety regulations are strictly followed.
Prioritising quality assurance measures to meet customer expectations and comply with industry regulations.
Operational efficiency – implementing streamlined processes, optimizing production and improving overall operational efficiency.
Colleague engagement, development and performance – build a strong and motivated team by fostering a positive work environment, providing opportunities for growth and development. Promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Department and team management – agree objectives with team, assess individual and team development needs and close gaps. Coach the team to a pro learning environment.
Management information and reporting – compile data for monthly reports, yields, wastage, equipment effectiveness. Measure and track progress on site initiatives against operations / production metrics.
Capacity planning and availability – conduct regular capacity planning for future needs.
Risk and Compliance – ensure compliance with all safety and environmental legislation and health & safety requirements.
