Job description

A leading supplier of flow control and automation solutions is looking for an experienced LPG Valves Sales Specialist to join their Johannesburg team. This role calls for a technically astute salesperson with a proven track record in industrial or gas-sector valves, capable of combining engineering insight with commercial drive.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 35 years of industrial sales experience (preferably valves, LPG / LNG, or similar)
Solid understanding of valves, regulators, and pressure-rated systems
Knowledge of applicable standards (EN, ISO, UL, ASME, API)
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally and across borders

Job Experience & Skills Required

Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a technical environment

Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple industries

Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Experience preparing detailed quotes, tenders, and proposals

Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to safety and compliance
