Overview
Our client in the telecom sector is seeking a Quality & Compliance Specialist on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Specialist to oversee data quality assurance and regulatory compliance throughout a complex BSS Data Migration program. This role ensures migrated data meets integrity, accuracy, and auditability standards across customer, product, and billing domains. The ideal candidate will be familiar with both the technical and operational aspects of BSS platforms as well as telecom compliance mandates and QA processes across the delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee data quality assurance and regulatory compliance throughout a complex BSS Data Migration program.
- Ensure migrated data meets integrity, accuracy, and auditability standards across customer, product, and billing domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data migration deliverables and QA processes.
- Maintain documentation, stakeholder communications, and issue resolution related to data quality and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
7 years in data quality, compliance, or audit roles with at least 3 years in telecom BSS environments.Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle including extraction, transformation, validation, and cutover.Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, Ataccama) and reconciliation frameworks.Familiarity with telecom data domains and TM Forum standards (SID, eTOM).Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, POPIA, ISO 27001) and contractual compliance.Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution skills; strong communication.Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Data Governance, Quality Management, or Compliance (e.g., CDMP, ISO Lead Auditor).Experience in consortium-led delivery or multi-vendor transformation programs.Exposure to Agile delivery models and quality assurance in iterative environments.Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related field.Key Skills
