Job title : Senior Software Engineer (Java & React) Bloemfontein

Job Location : Free State, Bloemfontein

Deadline : November 02, 2025

This is a remote position.

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate for this role has strong, solid experience developing and maintaining scalable and distributed applications. A high performant individual who writes quality and maintainable code.

What you will do

  • Working in a cross-functional agile team.
  • Participate and provide feedback in agile ceremonies.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot product defects.
  • Write good quality and maintainable code.
  • Documentation as needed.
  • Willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • What you will have

  • 8+ years of development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
  • Java 17+, Spring Framework and Springboot, Gradle.
  • React, NodeJs experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, always open to learning.
  • Experience with REST API’s.
  • Experience in writing good, solid unit and integration tests.
  • Experience in working with docker.
