Incomar Dynamics, a subsidiary within the Incomar group of companies is seeking a motivated individual to take up a Mechanical Integration Technician role within Incomar Dynamics. This individual will report directly to the Head of Production.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Senior Certificate.Technical certificate or formal training in mechanical system production and assembly or in a related field.Code B drivers’ licence and own vehicle.Police clearance certificate (required prior to commencement of employment).Required Skills, Experience And Key Qualities
Minimum of 2 years’ hands on experience in mechanical assembly, integration, and testing of aircraft systems and sub-systems.Familiarity with aerospace materials (Aluminium and composites) and their fabrication techniques (drilling, riveting, sheet metal work, bonding etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process planning documents.Knowledge of quality assurance techniques applicable to mechanical systems.Knowledge of and experience in testing techniques of mechanical systems and sub-systems.Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and manual dexterity skills.Willingness to learn.Good communicator.Able to maintain strict confidentiality.Able to multitask.Self-motivated and output driven.High work capacity and ability to deliver under pressure.Good attention for detail.Quality driven.Team player.Preferred Skills And Experience
Experience in landing gear, propulsion systems, structural assemblies, and test operations.Experience in test instrumentation calibration and quality control.Proficient with MIL-STD and aerospace standards and practices.Familiarity with industry-specific software for process documentation and quality control.Previous work experience in the aerospace and defence industry.Previous work experience in missiles or UAV systems.Job Description
Mechanical Integration Technician within the Production Department.Provide support and hands-on assembly, alignment, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of mechanical subsystems into airframes. The role ensures subsystems meet engineering and safety specifications and supports integration efforts from component-level to full-system validation.Mechanical Integration Technician Responsibilities
Execute mechanical build, assembly, and testing of critical systems such as landing gear, propulsion components, flight controls, and structural interfaces adhering to industry standards.Perform assembly and modification tasks using hand tools, torque wrenches, drills, riveters, grinders, and precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and schematics to guide installation and alignment work.Support integration of mechanical subsystems with avionics, propulsion, pneumatics, or other systems.Perform fluid and pneumatic testing as part of integration assembly processes.Conduct inspections, functional tests, and troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with engineering teams, including redlining and making in-situ fixes and repairs.Fabricate and use custom tooling, jigs, and fixtures needed for safe and precise assembly or test operations.Operate heavy rigging systems and vehicles such as cranes, lifts, and ground support equipment (GSE) as required during assembly and integration.Ensure all materials and components are handled and stored properly.Collaborate closely with engineers to refine integration processes and participate in continuous improvement efforts.Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to determine the best approach for each project and to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.Maintain accurate records of materials used and fabrication processes followed to support traceability and quality assurance efforts.Work within the Incomar quality standards.Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
